A Passion, a Hobby, a Job?

What got me into photography, you might be asking? It's the blend between capturing the moment, enhancing the image, and telling a story.

Capturing the Moment, a Passion.

Life is a collection of memories tied back to a few moments. As time passes, memories fade and those moments are lost. We rely on photographs to remind us of the memory of what a particular moment was about. That is what I focus on when I take a photo, and as a result, capture a moment.

Enhancing the Image, a Hobby.

There are many photo editing tools available. I started off using Google's Snapseed App (first on Android, then on iOS) to get started and learn about what goes into editing a photo. As I grew my editing skills, I needed something more advanced so I made the switch to Adobe Lightroom. I have been using it for a few months now and I seem to be learning more things as the day progresses.

Going Pro, a Job?

I definitely don't think I am at a point where I can confidently say I am a professional or know what I am doing. I enjoy capturing moments as a hobby and honestly, that is enough for me. As I go down this photography journey, perhaps that will change.
